As I have mentioned many times before I LOVE Amazon! Seriously what did we do before we had Amazon? When shopping for items while building our home, I began pricing items on Amazon and I came across Amazon Warehouse. Have any of you heard of this awesome site? I asked some of my friends and none of them had... so I thought I should share with everyone else.
The link to Amazon Warehouse can be found when you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. This will take you to another site within Amazon that is specifically for warehouse deals. Warehouse deals are mostly items that have been returned back to Amazon and have an opened box. Sometimes there are things that are used or mildly damaged, but the description will tell you the condition of the item.
I used Amazon Warehouse to find good deals on shower trim kits, faucets, door knobs and even a pot filler for our kitchen. I have learned that the trick to using the warehouse site is to know the retail price of an item you are looking for. That way, when you see a great deal you can snag it before it is gone. It also helps to browse frequently because there are always new items listed and often in small quantities. The shower trim kit below retails from $94-108 and it is listed for $78.10 on Amazon Warehouse.
The best deal that I found was my Danze pot filler which retails for $358 and I got it for $126! What a steal! I also learned that if an item stays listed for a few days, that the price will usually drop. When I first found the pot filler, I watched it for a few days before I was committed to buy. Much to my surprise, the price dropped twenty five dollars!
Just so y'all know, Amazon has no idea who I am, or that I am writing this post. I just thought that I should spread the news! Have you ever used Amazon Warehouse?
